Hello, Thank You for checking in ...

This is not the first time I have seen this changing market...As a matter of fact, in 20 plus years listing and selling Real Estate in the Western suburbs of Chicago, I have seen a market similar to this twice before...about every eight years. The difference in this market is the foreclosure market and short sales.

Each time the market changes, everyone has to adjust. The sellers have to adjust to longer market time and less equity than they may have anticipated. The buyer has to adjust to more choice and becoming satisfied when the right home comes along that it is a good time to move forward and write an offer. The Realtor must adjust to the fact that each of these realities will likely add to the length of time it will take to facilitate each transaction. Often, everyone is a little frustrated by the time line.

In the end, as always, we will move on...get the job done...move into the new house...and get back to the living and creating new memories. My job has always been to companion my clients through what always is, in any market, some of the most stressful days of their lives. It is my job it infuse hope, patience and expert advice as we move through the process.

What this market needs ... is just a little more patience...
