Virtual Tours....Do They Help or Hinder?

http://idx.imprev.net/03782F07/49/38149/1021015/index.ipv

So here it is...my new listing...well, it is not yet available, but will be on the market on Wednesday, however, all the preliminary work is done. Katherin, my photographer, has been out to take pictures, we have the virtual tour in place and the nine pictures allowed by the Multiple Listing Service. I will put the appropriate information into our Showing Solutions Desk so the Realtors can make appointments though a third party and the Realtors can respond via email with buyers comments.

It is a lot of prelisting preparation and the virtual tour is just a part of it, but a critical part. The day that listing goes on the market, every potential buyer who has a relationship with a Realtor will received an email with pictures, a virtual tour and every possible piece of information possible that will encourage a showing and possibly a purchase of that property. The pictures are a critical part of the package. The Virtual Tour brings a listing a bit more exposure than it would have otherwise. It is a like that can be sent on its own or in combination with other material.

I have never sold an home without the buyer having seen it in person, however, I imagine it is done more often than I know...so, if you have a buyer out there looking for a great condo in Downtown Naperville.. if you are a person who is looking for such a property .... two bedrooms and two baths on the fourth floor with just a wisp of a view of the Du Page River...check out the link...This may be your new home!
